We've restored and rebuilt our forums!

Besides looking a whole lot better, we can now have more forums to help you weed through the posts you aren't interested. You only want to know that '73 convertible? Well there's a place.

Not getting any love for your 76 Mustang II? You can find it here in the forums.

We did lose all the posts from the old forums, but given the tradeoff we're ok with that.

You'll need to register for the new forums. But once you do, that login will be good for MustangMonthly.com, mustangandfords.com, hotrod.com, etc.

Enjoy the new forums and let us know what you think!

I don't know about losing all the old posts...I had four dialogues going on with other members. I guess I'll just hope they post their problems again, and then try to remember my replies. This is your forum, but we are the members. You might want to think about that before you go changing everything and losing it all next time. As for all the members I was in contact with, if you remember dons66, get in touch with me. Maybe all of our posts want get "lost" this time.

dons66,

I completely understand. I would have preferred to move the posts over to the new forums. Admittedly I don't know the full techincal reasons why they couldn't be moved, but the decision was made to leave the old posts behind when we moved these new forums.

All though Mustang Monthly's name is on the forums, they truly belong to the readers and users. It's you that makes the forums a success. We can only provide a vehicle for you to communicate with each other. You're what makes this community work and thrive.

I do encourage everybody who posted in the past to join in on the new forums.

For those working with dons66 on some issues, please post again.

The proper way to handle this move, is to keep access to the old forums for some period of time.  Thus users can post something like "conversation continued in new forums - topic called xxxx"

I have a 65 fastback with no door tag plate.  Is there any way of getting the tag info. from the VIN number?

Thanks,

Greetings:

Great to see Mustang Monthly forum back online finally...I am reposting this here for the editors/reporters of Mustang Monthly to look into...and please do let us know what you findout!

I just hear on the grapevine...(and I am checking into this vis web as much as I can...as well) that
someone that currently reproduces a camaro body is about to release a 1970 Mustage fastback body fully reproduced.  Is this correct?  Who is the manufacturer.  A fellow told this to me, he heard it on Musclecar (not sure if he was refering to the TV show).

Can anyone on this forum or editors/reporters w/ Mustang Monthly confirm or deny that this is just a rumor or if a full body fastback repro is about to hit the streets?

If turns out to be true...I can just see it now...many shops (like Shelby, Roush, Fouse, Steeda, Unique Performance, plus others maybe even Saleen, etc) will get into the resto mod/performance build of these fastbacks with new drivetrains/suspensions etc.  Would be great to see some new/classic styling back on American roadways without concern for trailering/babying/those concours version but put the rubber back on the pavement and pound those horses the way they were ment to be driven!

Hope it is true but please let us know what is up with this...ok.  Thank you and I await those replies/posts!
