I had a situation come up an was wondering about data plate value. About 10 years ago I got a couple of doors off a whrecked 1967 fastback to repair my son's car and found out the car was an "S" code car. I saved the orginal data plate off the drivers door all these years. I have now found the person who bought the rest of the car and he has the title to the car and the fender apron with the serial # to match the data plate. I was wondering if there is any value to the data plate and if so what it might be worth. I realize that to anyone else there would not be much value. Thanks.

They offer no real value. More than likely the owner has had a reproduction plate stamped. Just be a sport and send them to him, you will make his day, and kindness is always repaid one way or another.
