My 16 year old son and I just began restoring our 1964 1/2 coupe.  There are a lot of restoration books out there.  Does anyone have a recommendation?  Thanks.

Did you ever find a guide? I am looking for the same thing for my 67.

I started a 65 conv in January and bought several.  It depends on your skill level.  But my favorite is by Dobbs and Smart called Complete Guide to Mustang Restoration,it gives a very good order of teardown and build up.  It does lack in some detail but I found it to be of great value.  Good Luck

Ford Mustang Research
Ford Mustang When looking for your next vehicle, think about the Ford Mustang, a stylish car with nice features. The Mustang gets 16 mpg in the city and 24 on the highway, and has drivers side crash test ratings of 5 stars and passengers side crash test ratings of 5 stars. You also might want to research the Ford Explorer and the Lincoln MKS.
