Hi there,
I've got a '92 Mustang and it's time for new tires. I used Michelins from 1992 to about 2003, and finally got tired of only getting 30,000 miles to them, besides paying around $175 per tire. (I don't drive the car hard, don't burn rubber.)
I went with BF Goodrich KDWS' on this last round, got a bit more milage out of them and spent less. But thought before I buy them again, or maybe the Goodrich G-Force Sport, any suggestions out there for the best or your favorite tires for this car?
I'd like to not spend more than $100-110 per tire, and of course would like to get more than 30,000 miles on them. I live on the West Coast, so no snow. Just sun and winter rain.
Thanks for any suggestions! JC

I got around 45k out of the dunlop tires I put on my 90 notch. I would thrash on it a few days a week too. sp sport 5000 they are great, quiet and great traction on dry/wet pavement. *** I would rotate them every other oil change.
