I have a 2006 Mustang GT and I was wondering if anyone has heard of any company producing functional side scoops. I like the look of a side scoop, but in my a non-functional scoop just wrecks your aerodynamics and is a waste of money.

I haven't seen any, I like the idea of a functional side scoop too and have been trying to find them as well. I am planning on getting the flush mounted louvered quarter windows this week.

I personally think all non-functional scoops are stupid. Mustang is notorious for having these options (hood, sides, rear window). I think that Ford should simply have these as full options for higher trimmed stangs.

Actually they don't take away that much from performance and look great. Even functional side-scoops were intended to help hold the backend down at high speeds.
