i believe i stumbled upon a rare 1985 lx. i owen a 1985 mustang lx with a 5.0,cfi,aod,dark sage in color.if i read right i have one of 35 in color. that number changes with aod and the cfi.i just wanted to build a mustang,and im not sure this is the one to alter. any info would be very helpful.  

The mustang LX was in its second year in 1985 and it was just starting to gain popularity as a real performance bargain. a 1985 LX is much rarer than, say, a 1990 LX. I have never heard of that colour before, but if it does exist and is only one of 35, modifications will detract from its value rather than add. If you wanted to modify a Foxbody, i would suggest a 90-93 four-cylinder LX.
