Installed T5 trans in '67 conv mated to a 351W resto mod project car. Need to add auto trans fluid but have never done so in this type of trans. I need advice on how best to add fluid to this new transmission, what type, how much and where added.
Thanks.

First, the T5 uses ATF Dexron III/Mercon trans fluid.

Filling to capacity, fill through the fill hole until fluid starts trickling out. Then you know you're full.

Im almost positive they are on the pass. side of the gearbox. There is one toward the top of the side and one on the bottom. They take a 3/8 extension to remove them and the lower one drains the top one is the fill. I used a full synthetic atf fluid that got rid of my cold morning gear grinds.
