Satellite Radio install issue

Anyone aware of any special problem with the factory radio on 05 Mustang that does not allow the auxiliary input to recognize a satellite radio receiver. I have an auxiliary harness, but when I push the auxiliary button, it says there is no input. Someone mentioned something about needing to upload software to the radio, but I have not found any information on that.

I had my audio guy install and he said the tech bulletin would not allow installation. He tried anyway and it won't pick up the input. So I had to use the aux input and mount it on the dash. :0(
