I have a 1973 Mustang with a 351 2v Fmx Auto. I recently switched the intake to a Edelbrock performer 4 barrel. in doing this i disconnected the vacuum switches on top of the manifold. there was two electronic switches with two vacuum lines on each, these go to a Egr control module which is connected to a bunch of other things. My question is and i just get rid of the switches and leave the wires there or do i need to disconnect the egr control module? I noticed since i switched the intake the Rpm range has changed, i cannot go above 4500 RPM, i used to be able to go higher with a 2 barrel carb.
