I have a 77 mustang 302 v8. I wanting to change to distributor with points. I cant read the wiring diagram good enough to figure what wires to delete and what wires to use from the firewall to engine. could use some help please. thanks JAMES

I dont know why you want to go to an inferior system but if so , just take the red wire with green stripe and leave it on the coil and remove the wire on the primary side of coil and hook up your black wire coming out of points distributor to primary side of coil, then reset timing.
What is wrong with current system?
