Hello All!
I own a 1965 Mustang GT, which came with the styled Rims for a 1966. Does anyone know if the car was built towards the end of the 65 year that it could be possible that the car came with them?

Possible but doubtful, and difficult to confirm. More than likely they were added by a previous owner. The car could have come with 65 styled steels, of course. Sounds like you already know that the outer portion of the 65 styled steels were chrome while 66s were black with trim rings. Also, styled steels were not part of the GT package - they were optional for any V8 (5-lug) 65-66 Mustang.
