hesitates on accelleration, sat for maybe 3 months, had the mass air flow sensor out, now it wont start. Turns over strong. any ideas where to start

First check if it has fuel pressure. There is a Schrader valve on the fuel rail. It's exactly like a tire valve. Push the little pin in and fuel should squirt out. Next would be to check for spark while it's cranking.

Also check the TPS sensor too.
