66 Wiper motor rebuild

I have a unique style wiper motor and bracket that I am trying to get working in my 66 Mustang. The armateur is frozen and I have had direct current to the motor and it still does not work. Can anyone suggest a repair shop or a vendor who can repair or replace this motor.

What do you mean by "unique style?"  The 65 and 66 wiper motors were all the same if it is a factory motor. They were either one speed or two speed.  I don't mean to sound like a smart ass, but  just get a new one from your favorite Mustang vendor and be done with the headache.  

This motor and bracket fit specifically to this car. AND no, the standard 64 1/2 to 66 wiper motors 1 speed and 2 speed do not fit into the bracket. It is a factory motor and the Ford dealership identified it as coming from either a mustang or galaxie.
Sorry, your suggestion to just get a new one is not an option. Looking fo solutions not the easy way out.

 Someone long ago must have changed the wiper motor in your car, with one from a Galaxym,
Or else the easy way out would work.
 Applying voltage to a motor with a stuck armature,
without a fuse in the circuit, is a sure way to burn one out.
 The windings of all motors are made with a varnish-coated wire to keep them from shorting.
Once it siezes, the motor will overheat and melt the varnish.
 If this has happened it's bupkiss, motor is shot
and will need to be rewound at a motor shop.
 If you can open the motor up, you could try to get
some lubrication into the housing ends to see if you could unstick it.  And look at the stator and armature windings and see if any look black, thats a sign it's been cooked.  Just use Yellowbook.com to search for a motor rewinding shop in your area.

I can't imagine going through getting an odd windshield wiper motor rewound.  That will cost about twice as much as just getting the proper motor and bracket that came with the 66 from the factory.  There is nothing "special" about your motor or bracket.  Rip them out and go back to the original.  

Thanks MB. I am reluctant to give up at this point. Especially since I have a numbers matching car. Here is what I discovered. I opened the gear housing and discovered that a tooth from one of the gear arms(don't know what else to call it) had broken off. My guess is that when the motor was sent to be rebuilt, the tooth must have dislodged in transit. When it was rebuilt, and the motor tested, everything worked fine.
By the time it got back to the garage, the tooth had jamed between the screw and the gear arm and siezed the motor. I called CARDONE and the Parts Plus Store and they were very gracious about having me return the motor. Cardone said there was a good chance they have an arm to replace the broken one. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.  

I assume you don't like to listen to reasoning by your comments,  so go ahead and rebuild a wiper motor that was not designed for your 66 Mustang.  Again, there were no "special" wiper motors and brackets designed for the 66 Mustang.  What you have is a bastard.

I was not trying to insult.  I was just trying to make the original poster aware that his current wiper motor was not designed for his 66 Mustang, and that it would be a hellava lot cheaper to replace the motor and the bracket with an original.  An original that would work and be concours correct.  By calling it a bastard, everyone in the industry knows that parts from other makes of Ford products such as a Galaxie from the time period is not concours correct even though it will sometimes work.  What he has is a bastard motor and bracket.  Get it right and replace it with a concours correct 1966 Ford Mustang wiper motor and bracket, but don't try to confuse the general public with some dimwit notion that there was somehow a special motor and bracket designed especially for his car.  BS

did you find out where to have them rebuilt?  I can not find a two speed wiper motor.  Mustangs Unlimited will say they have one then ship you a one speed.
