Got a '96 Gt convertible just of of winter storage last week. Detailing done. Problem? When i push up the turn siganl switch to activate the r/side signal, it won't work. But, when i just push up the turn signal arm just a little, as if i were just passing, it will work, just not when it is pushed up all the way. My plan is to take off the under dash panel under the colum and the colum covers. Next i wlll try to clean out the switch and use a little electrical contact spray.

Is this part hard to replace? I am thinking it's a dealer only part. Haven't called Pepboys yet. Wanna do it next weekend as this car is due for inspection this month. Thanks. intimadator3824@hotmail.com

No not hard to replace and can be bought at Napa or other good parts stores. It is a turn switch or combonation switch. It 70 dollars at my store part number DL6169. Hope this helps.
