I was stationed in Germany and Japan for several years, and they were experiencing something like those prices a few years back. I just paid $4.07 USD for a gallon of premium, and consider myself lucky. I know that may sound funny coming from an American, but as far as the rest of the world, we are paying far less.

I want to turn my 68 fully electric. (www.go-ev.com) Drop in a Warp11 motor, as many batteries as I can wedge into the trunk & under the hood, charge 'er up and go. If it were only that easy.............

We're up to $4.55 and climbing for regular unleaded here in So Cal(6/9/8). I go to Europe a lot for my job and I'm really glad we don't use Liters here in the US.
