Anybody going to the show this week?  I haven't missed one this "century" (LOL).   It's always a great time with several thousand Mustangs/Fords and hundreds of vendors. You usually get a peek at what the future holds.

I always renew my subscriptions to Mustang Monthly and other magazines there each year.  You usually get a free T-shirt or other gift.

Post up if your going, it's usually a blast.  I meet up with my 03/04 Mach I Registry buddies and we usually have 50 to 100 late model Machs in attendance.

I'll be back this year after missing last year due to a wedding. Always one of the best shows of the year with special displays (this year it's Cobra Jets and SVT)and the huge swap meet. Also, everyone is invited to join Mustang Monthly for the Pony Trails on Friday morning at CJ Pony Parts. See the details in our Blogs.

Donald, you guys need to have the Pony Trails the day before the show (like Thursday).  On Fridays, I'm too busy trying to get through the all vendors before all the good stuff is gone (LOL) and still cleaning up my car at the fairgrounds.

I usually arrive in Carlisle Wednesday evening and get set up in my motel.  Thursday morning I head over to Hershey AACA Museum and check out their displays and then CJ Pony Parts since it's close-by. In the afternoon I head over to the fairgrounds to pick up my pre-registration package.

One more thing Donald, are you going to set up in a certain location or just mostly walking around gathering photos and information for future articles? I only ask because I might bring my 25 year old copy of your old Boss 302 book and I thought I'd get you to autograph it if I ran into you if you don't mind?  I didn't think about it in '05 at the Boss gathering and saw you signing items there.

Take care and hope to see you this weekend.

A Pony Trails on Thursday would get me out of the office for another day, so not a bad idea...

I'll be all over the Carlisle fairgrounds on Saturday but will check in from time to time with Billy T. at the Mustang Monthly subscription tent, which is usually located on the corner behind the grandstands. Bring the book and I'll be happy to sign it.

Is Billy T. the blond-headed guy always selling subscription's at shows?  If so I'll probable be seeing him early Saturday myself, I always renew my subsctiptions with him and get my free  MM and MF t-shirts (LOL).

Do an informal poll of the Pony Trails participants and see if they'd rather a ride prior to the show day.  Show car parking is at such a premium that I'd hate to get there late so once the show starts, I'm there early all three days.  It's also the best time to see and get good pictures of some of the special cars before the crowds are there.

Ford Mustang Research
Ford Mustang When looking for your next vehicle, think about the Ford Mustang, a stylish car with nice features. The Mustang gets 16 mpg in the city and 24 on the highway, and has drivers side crash test ratings of 5 stars and passengers side crash test ratings of 5 stars. You also might want to research the Ford Explorer and the Lincoln MKS.
