I can't get the wipers off to remove the cowl cover on my 69. I know this is crazy. there is a tab that I've moved over but they won't come off. I think I've been working on this resto too long. any suggestions?

Use PLENTY OF PADDING around the wiper area, then hold the wiper assembly at the connection and with a hook, hook the back of the connector, then jiggle and pull with both hands equally. Don't use excessive force, by jiggling it you'll eventually loosen it. PATIENCE, young grasshopper, Patience!!!!!It'll come! Jay67fast

Jiggle is the operative word here! Sometimes it helps to extend the wiper arm away from the glass and use is as a lever while you wiggle it off.
