O.K., all you whiz kids, lol, I just replaced my master cylinder because it wasn't releasing all the way (67 F/B, 289,A/T, A/C, C4, FRONT DISCS, REAR DRUMS). It's a 69 Corvette M/C, used on the R&C Motorsports Disc Brake conversion kit. I managed to avoid warping the rotors (whew) and am now really cognizant of the brakes dragging. Sure there's some slight pressure always on the rotors, or drums, even without applying the brakes, but is there an accepted amount of drag? Is there a temperature range for the rotors right after normal driving and braking? I measured the temp of both front brake rotors (as best I could, please don't ask how, I'd be embarrassed to say) and both rotors were about 200 degrees right after I shut down the car. Only did mild braking, not over 50 MPH at any time, drove about 10 miles before measuring. The outside temperature is in the high 80"s, though I don't think that'll make any difference. Any help out there? You guys know some pretty obscure facts about these cars, so I figure I have a good shot of getting an answer from one of you. Thanks, Jay67fast
