How would a 1997 Mustang act if the crank or cam sensor goes out? ![]() I do know that it is not getting fire!

Download the codes from your OBD2 reader and see what it says. Your car has onboard diagnostics. You can borrow or buy a code reader.

It probably would not start. Go to autzone and borrow their OBD2 reader for the fault codes.( like mech guys says)
