I'm in the process of replacing my AOD with a 4R70W in my 64 ½ Stang powered by a 5.0 HP and I need help programming the shift points. I'm using a Baumann Engineering Transmission Control System (TCS) for the computer. This TSC has the capability of having two shift programs (street & Strip) controlled via a two way switch. It came with a default program with shift points of 1-2 and 2-1 @ 15 MPH and 1710 RPM, 2-3 & 3-2 21 MPH and 1300 RPM, and 3-4 & 4-3 80 MPH and 3140 RPM. If anyone has any information they might share with me it would be greatly appreciated. I think my highway RPM dropped by 40% with this new transmission.

The drop in highway RPM is normal. Set street mode shifts at comfortable RPM. Strip mode shifts should be set with WOT for best performance at a RPM compatable with your cam (IE. 5000-7000 RPM)
