Our car that you say was "screwed up" was actually taken from a field with a dog chained to it and more dead mice and other dead critters in it than a person can imagine. The thing had more rust than metal and grass growing through the rotted floor. It had to be litteraly drug home since it could not even roll anymore. It was sitting there, ignored for almost 8 years by the previous owner who could not care less about it. The stench in the car was so bad it had to be gutted outside, mice nests and animal remains removed and then brought ito our garage to be restored. When I take a step back I'm proud that I saved the hunk of rust and got it back on the road.....after 52K in parts, including a 428 Cobra Jet engine and almost a year of work later. So, you see, our Eleanor was NOT a perfectly good classic Mustang. We didn't take a concourse quality vehicle and modify it....we created a show car out of scrap metal that is now a blast to own and drive.

Although the Eleanor era is passing, this remains a terrific Mustang modification. It still looks great. So if the Eleanor look appeals to you, why not. These cars are still head turners in traffic and at shows.
The Eleanor look takes Shelby's '67 fascia and puts it on steroids.
