A couple of years ago I ran across a manual that listed the part numbers and descriptions of Ford fasteners. I am restoring a 66 Mustang and find that the most difficult information to find is exactly what the correct fasteners are as I reassemble. Is anyone familiar with the manual I saw? How can I find this elusive information? I have a Ford Shop Manual for my car. I also have the Ford Master Parts Catalog. Getting the number doesn't seem too difficult. Getting the description seems practically impossible.
Thanks for any help.

AMK has a parts listing for Ford fasteners with a picture and description. You look up the 5 or 6 digit fastener P/N in the Ford assembly in the AMK index and it directs you a a specific page for that type of fastener whicj then shows a drawing with dimensions. I got one 6 years ago for about $25

*** I've never seen the manual you refere to. However, if you go to the California Mustangs catalog (or www.cal-mustang.com),on page 157 they list Concurs fastener kits. These range from specifc areas to a master chassis kit.

Thanks for the replies. I picked up the AMK manual today. I didn't realize it lists Ford part numbers. I thought it was AMK part numbers. I imagine this will be quite a handy manual since it explains surface finish in addition to fastener sizes.
Thanks again.
