I need a complete floor pan for a 68 Fastback. What should I know about the quality and who to buy from? I want it to be as close to OEM as possible. I would appreciate input, esp. from body and sheet metal professionals.

You want to look for made in the USA for the pan( or any steel body panel), these have a little thicker steel than the import ones. You will pay more for a US produced unit.

Definitly NPD.... they have warehouses all over the country and very fast shipping. The closer the warehouse is the less you pay for shipping, and that matters a lot on a large panel like a complete floor. I've installed both completefloors and complete sides.... individual pans & toe boards.... trust me the whole thing is easier and a better repair.
Good luck!
