I'm getting ready to begin modifying my 03 cobra. I want to change out the stock blower pulley with a smaller one, perhaps the 2.8" Will this require any computer adjustments? Since this will generate more heat - working the supercharger harder, should I change out the heat exchanger? Would I be safer with a pulley size in between the stock size and the 2.8"? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I posted this in the general section and didn't get any replies.

How is the charger cooled? How do plan on driving this new found HP? Just need a bit more info to give a good answer.

I plan to do more modifications including cold air induction, throttle body, eventually exhaust. It's my toy and not a daily driver. I bought it new in Dec. 02 and have 13000 miles on it. I just want to do a few simple bolt on modifications to increase the horsepower over stock. I'm not sure I understand your question on how it is cooled. My question is if I change out the stock pulley size to a smaller pulley size, do I need to swap out the stock heat exchanger with an aftermarket unit? Or will the stock heat exchanger handle the extra heat generated because of the smaller pulley size?

As long as you don't go over kill no. You first need to find out what boost can it handle stock. I believe it is only 11 psi. If that is true then you should stay within that. Exhaust is great hp gainer too.
