NO,  It has a newer 302 in it now, I sure wish it had the original engine in it, a member of the Mustang club told me I should convert it back to a 200 6, and then add a manifold with a 2V carb to simulate the original.

Oh also thanks for the web sight, I am looking around there now.

 thanks for all reply's and thoughts..... not bothering me any more, just happy to have a piece of history, and enjoy what I have.

I have a similar issue.  the VIN on the fender starts with a 4 but the title and door tag start with a 5. it's a 65 fastback matching numbers.  the rest of VIN matches.  To my knowledge Ford never started off with a 4 they were all tagged as 65's.  Any ideas? tried contacting Marti reports, Ford, and other websites and so far nobody has replied except Ford and they made matters worse with the data decoding.  A little help please.
