Thanks for the suggestions on my last question, here are the things I've found since, still not starting. Fuel lines are clear, FP is good, fuel is getting to the carb, air is getting to carb (filter is clear), spark plugs look new, wires are in good shape. I am going to test the plugs as soon as i get the chance, but other than that I don't know what to look at next. Help, and thanks in advance!

I know no one has responded yet, but I have tested all the spark plugs and they pass. I'm ashamed to admit it, but my newbie knowledge is exhausted, I need some new suggestions/info to keep my hopes alive.

Ok lets see what we know. For the engine to start we need fire, fuel and air AT THE RIGHT TIME in the combustion cycle.Take the air cleaner off and leave it off until it is running or you walk away from it for a while. When you crank the engine over can you actually see fuel going into the carb opening? How did you test the plugs? Did you take each one and ground it(but not touching so you have a small gap) against a piece of metal on the block and acually see the spark jump across this gap? Is the engine spinning quickly? You may have to charge the battery if you have been trying to start it and the battery is running down. Has the engine been sitting for a long time? Have you owned this car awhile? Was it ever running since you got it? Pm me and I will try to help you out. Fordwannabe
