Fellow Mustang owners,

I am looking for a website or some resource where I can cross check part numbers. I have been going to junkyards lately and it would be nice to double check part numbers.  I have a Motorcraft part and I have gone to their website, but it is saying that the part number I am entering is not found. I am wondering if anyone has any idea of other websites to check? The Ford dealer in my area only goes back to 87'.

There are parts manuals for sale out there, but most I have seen are more chassis and body related. What kind of part are you trying to validate?  

I am trying to varify the wiper governor. I pulled one out of the same year, an 1984, out of the junkyard but the pins do not match the one that is in the vehicle.
