Hey guys, Im starting work on the body of my 67 conv. My question is im looking into replacing the front fenders and rear quarter panels, Ive seen some kits that include all pieces including front and rear valances, how do i know which ones to pick. The ones im looking at right now are sold through mustang unlimited. Any advice woould be greatly appreciated.

Replacing the front fenders and valance is a real easy project. However replacing the rear quarter panel requires some welding experience, and welder, and a place to do it. It might be less expensive to have a body shop tackle that project unless you are able. Mustangs unlimited does not have a good reputation throughout the mustang community. If I were you, I would get all my parts from NPD.

CSM, There a couple of things you should also know regarding replacement sheet metal. There is Ford tooling repop's, US made, Canadan made, and Taiwan made. Some have advantages over others (like better fitment and thickness). Talk with you supplier about your choice before you throw down the dollars. I've so far had OK luck with the everyday stuff (most from Taiwan)
