Have a 65 with 4 speed and installed a 66 adjusting rod to the bearing arm.
Clutch grabs right off the floor. What s the best way to adjust to bring the pedal back up?

I had the same problem & was reading that the z-bar on these 289, 4 speeds are built in a way that the pedal is close to the floor for faster shifts. I like the clutch graging from the floor up, if you adj. the pedal where it is suppose to be than the clutch is working off the top of the pedal, running it this way I seemed to be riding the clutch alot to get going so I put it back on the floor so it is grabbing from the bottom. Just what I read somewhere , maybe on these forums.
