Since we don't know what you do know, how are we to determine what you don't know.

Well - it's a mustang, it's white with a red stripe, the front of the hood is trashed, it has rusted out doors and quarters, and it's missing a front window. There! Now you know about your car! Hee Hee

brunettes...sorry about the other responses sometimes they dont think before typing. anyhow...you show us a pic of the car and thats great...thing is you give no info on the car for us to give any suggestions or responses to it. things like...what yr it is or do you want to dp a full restore or make it a daily driver. is it a 6 or 8 cyl. anything like that would help us to help you. if your in the fla area of tampa i wouldnt mind getting a look at it ok sorry i see you say it's a 68 coupe...tell us more

This site is full of intelligent mustang restorers, but you have not asked a question. And, you certainly have not told us what you know about restoring that mustang and what information you wish to know that you don't know. You sound like a dumb broad that doesn't know anything about Mustangs and doesn't even know how to ask for help.

Oh come on - lighten up! Can't there be some fun in this forum. I certainly would have replied differently if a question had been posted.

Ok, and what was the question? I see a rust bucket pictured, and someone who bought it asking for advice, but not a question. That rust bucket will take thousands of dollars to restore, and it is not worth it.

Texas is a big place. Texas Mustang Parts (texasmustang.com) and CJ Pony Parts (cjponyparts.com) are two places in your state. National Parts Depot is a popular mail order business. From the looks of your picture, I suggest having a body shop look at it first...

brunettes i agree with you...my car needed alot and i me an alot of metal work. i've taught myself how to weld and have had the pro's look at my work and they say it;s as good as what they would have done. the point is it may be a rust bucket now but when your done with it....you can say hey i did this i made this car look the way it does now. just remember everytime you go to do something take pictures and take plenty of them. this way the ones that had the nerve to say its a rustbucket and had no hope in your project you can tell them this was then this is now as you drive up. i dont know if your gonna do all the metal yourself or if your gonna have a shop do it.either way it will be well worth the time when it's done. i myself still have about a month of just doing bodywork and i want it right. i get discouraged at times but then i look and tell myself it'll all be worth it when i get to give my son the keys. but not before i get to take it out and show it off. enjoy the car and dont let anyone get you down about it.

oooh by the way it's the ones that say go find something else that wont take the time or effort to try doing any type of body work and just want to change a sparkplug or put air in the tires. yeah they read alot about doing restores but have they really done it... good luck there brunette...hope all works out for you

one more thing...TO SOARING.....you see a rust bucket in a picture,,,isnt that part of doing a restore isnt that part of being the one to do a restore. you look at a car that was a top name car 40 yrs ago and is now falling apart and then say to yourself....and to the car...i'm gonna make you better then when you came off the line. not go find a car thats just gonna need a paint job and maybe the interior and a tuneup. and even if it does take thousands of dollars to fix it up you dont know what that person has to put into it. thats not up to you or me. give advice if you can if you csnt then well SHUT...UP
