Hey Guys. I am in the process of restoring my 68 Mustang. the driver side window crank does not work. When i attach the window knob/handle to the pin and turn it, i hear a clicking sound, like it is basically missing/slipping. The middle door panel is off, but the inner door frame is on the car. Do i need ot remove the entire door door frame to fix this problem? I noticed a little rubber gasket piece right under the window pin, can I access the problem area from here? Anyone know exactly what my issue is and do i need any parts? And is the door frame as easy as removing all the bolts i can visually see? Thanks in advance!

I just had my 67 mustang restored and the window regulator is one of the most tricky process of the restoration. I hope you can find what you are looking for on this site. I do not belive you can fix the regulator without taking it out. I had to take mine out to fix about 18 years ago and we just had to take them out to replace a few weeks ago. averagejoerestoration.com/how-to/how-to-replace-a-classic-mustang-window-regulator
