Now I have a huge quest, Rebuilding the front end. I am trying to get the Idler arm off and I have tried a puller and a hammer Still won't move off the arm linkage.
Any suggestions On getting this 40 yo arm off

Hi classic. I'm not clear as to what end of the arm you are trying to remove, draglink end or frame end?

If it's stuck in the draglink, there are pullers that push the tapered shaft out from the nut side(instead of whacking the heck out of it with a "pickle fork"). If it's not coming off of the frame bracket shaft, that's a stuck sleeve and its probably better that you have a machine shop remove it or replace the whole thing with a new arm and frame bracket.
