Hello all. I have a 1973 Mustang Convertable and the fender aprons looks like they need to be replaced. I have seen some aprons for sale and I would like some advice on replacing them. I am concerned with making sure that the hood hinges line up after the replacement..
Any suggestions / tricks out there would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again

I don't have any experience with a 73 but on my 66 I replaced the right front apron and radiator support frame. 2 pieces of advice:
-Measure and record the key dimensions before you tear it apart. -Do one side at a time so you get it back on straight.

You may want to consider the frame rails at the same time. check for level from one to another (side to side) making sure first that the existing ones are level. Square one side up at a time, doing it complete before beginning the other.
