I just got my 66 Vert back from the body shop and $13,000 later am trying to get the panels and parts reassembled.  The rear valance had to be replaced and I'm having trouble getting it in place and attached.  The part is an aftermarket one and I was wondering if it might need some "special" technique or seals or something along those lines in order to eliminate the spaces and gaps and make a nice tight fit.
Any ideas anyone?  I am definitely NOT a sheet metal person so if this requires welding or something, please advise.  Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum. Why didn't you have the body shop put the valance on? In answer to you question, some fit better than others and you have to custom fit them to the car.

Ford Mustang When looking for your next vehicle, think about the Ford Mustang, a stylish car with nice features. The Mustang gets 16 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway, and has drivers side crash test ratings of 5 stars and passengers side crash test ratings of 5 stars. You also might want to research the Ford Explorer and the Lincoln MKS.
