Just picked up a 2009 Mustang GT Premium, Performance White, Manual, Charcoal grey w/ comfort grp, GT appearance pkg., Glass roof and had the dealer install the SYNC system. Anybody else have the SYNC in their Stang or glass roof for an extended period of time, problems? Anybody actually getting the manufactured MPG w/ out having to Granny shift all the time? What I'm really asking is can anybody resist just stomping on the gas pedal to hear that exhaust note? If so can you recommend a support group because I'm just eating through my gas. Anyway, just one of those moments you feel the need to howl at the moon when you get your 1st Mustang. Hope to hear from some of you.

The only time I can hold back from punching it is when local law enforcement is out giving driving awards. Other than that, light 'em up!

No need to be jealous, the deals they are making right now and what they offered me on my trade-in made it possible... and the small levels of halucinogens I've been giving my wife in her tea. Good luck on taking it for a joy ride because finding it sitting in my drive way... not likely. Took it to the Naval Academy this weekend and was pleasantly surprised that I could actually get the claimed gas mileage and it handled great in the down pours I was driving through on I-95. I'm not quite sure if it was the hood scoop or the glass roof that added to the road noise, not enough to make me not recommend the glass roof but it was noticeable at 80mph. Great to hear from my fellow Stangers and happy to join the crowd. Can anybody recommend a place on Long Island, NY for Shelby Stripes? Talk you soon.

Welcome to the Mustang world. I have a 2007 and love it. Get ready for the road challenges out there. I have eating up rice burners and those big trucks with big tires and rims that think they are fast. Ha-Ha!

It's funny you should say that, the only people who I have had as takers at a stop light have been other Mustang owners. I pulled up along side a guy my age, roughly, in a new Challenger w/ the RT pkg and he had no interest in pulling the trigger and there was some room to run to about 85mph. No ricers what so ever and no tickets either, Thank God. Before I got the glass roof I had anticipated putting blue Shelby stripes on my stang but the glass roof gives it a black top appearance because of its tinting and I no longer think the blue stripes would look good. I don't want to do black stripes either, to blah, any suggestions in breaking up the color?

Ford Mustang Research
Ford Mustang When looking for your next vehicle, think about the Ford Mustang, a stylish car with nice features. The Mustang gets 16 mpg in the city and 24 on the highway, and has drivers side crash test ratings of 5 stars and passengers side crash test ratings of 5 stars. You also might want to research the Ford Explorer and the Lincoln MKS.
