I recently rebuilt the entire front suspension on my 1973 convertible. The car handled much better but still wandered when going down the road. The only thing not touched was the gear box, a SPA-T Variable ratio unit. I could not find anyone to rebuid the box locally. I tracked down a old issue of mustang monthly when editor Jeff Ford was rebuilding his Lazarus project and he used Lee Maufacturing Co. No website, so I called them and talked to Tom Lee the owner. Sent him my origional box and pump and they rebuilt it to better than new. Car now handles much better and tracks straight.
Contact Tom Lee at Lee Manufacturing 11661 Pendleton street Sun Vally, CA 818-768-0371
Tom recommended that GM power steering fluid should be used. No red colored fluid.
