Okay so I was glad to see the new July "Mustang Monthly" on the counter when I got home from work the other day. I enjoy reading the articles for the most part and I am always learning something new from the mag. However, I was really disappointed to see that 12 pages where dedicated to the 05-10 Mustang Parts and another 4 page article about how the other half make money "The Broker" although well written. I like cars and guitars but I really don't care about how great someone else's business has helped them achieve riches. I want to know about mustangs..... That’s it, how to build, fix, repair, find parts, meets, shows, swap, history, nice pictures, hidden treasures etc... If I wanted to read about how the other half live I would subscribe to “Fortune” or some other business magazine about the rich and infamous. I understand demographics and a need to stay current, a mix of new in old is okay but 16 pages is a bit much not including ads for the new mustang parts stores. If writers have run out of good articles for the classic mustang mag ask the readers and they can send you some suggestions. I’m OUT!!!

Thanks for the feedback. The Buyers Guide is something we've been doing in the July issue for the past several years in conjunction with our sister magazine, 5.0 Mustang. It used to be even larger. 5.0 has decided not to distribute the guide any longer so I expect this one will be the last. We'll still keep up with some of the new 05-10 parts in New Bits.
I agree that "The Broker" was a bit of a different twist. Car guys and guitar guys tend to be similar and I thought it was interesting that he figured out a way to make a living, and a good one, playing with both. At least you thought it was well-written!
