Rusty 82 GT T-top...ideas?

I have an '82 GT T-top that has rust in the usual places (hatch hinge area and the front of the "A" pillars). Are there any articles, books, or videos that show the best methods to fix these problems? I've been a subscriber for nearly 20 years and I can't remember an issue(s) that covered both of these areas. Thanks in advance.
