The turn signals on my 67 Mustang began to flash very slow then quit altogether. I replaced the flasher unit and now I am blowing fuses. The radio has also blown the fuse. Any thoughts on what is wrong.

Not an electrician but, maybe it is a problem with a ground wire or could be your turn signal bulbs, they can cause short problems if they are blown or not grounded correctly. Check them and use some bulb (electrical) grease to seat them in the sockets.

Hi Norwalk, a little more info please. What fuse(s)are blowing?

The way a flasher works is:
A flasher is constructed to act as a resetting circuit breaker when it's temperature raises because there is a large amount of current flow in the light circuit.  It goes real fast when only 1 lamp is functional because there is always 12 volts available to feed the flasher and now less than normal resistance. It goes real slow if more than normal resistance is present.
So there may be a short in your wiring or it could be the bulbs not making good contact causing the slowness.  There is no way to correctly diagnois your radio light issue with the info provided.

Ohms law states that if the voltage (V)is steady and the resistance (R)changes (lamp load), the current(I), will also change(V=I/R).

Thanks for the help. When the problem first started the flashers were very slow. Finally quit altogether. I got new flashers and by mistake I was given "electronic" flasher, which I have since found out were not the right unit. I have replaced those with a "regular" unit. I installed new fuses and tested everything. Everything worked with the ignition on but the car not running. When I ran the car for a few minutes and tried it again, all interior lights dimed and the fuse 14A blew. Front signal lights are new so are hood lights and harness. Rear lights sockets are orginal. Wire harness is the orginal

Could I have messed up the regulator with the wrong flashers?

It's very unlikey a regulator was damaged by the wrong flasher. ( assume you mean the Voltage regulator and not the inst regulator. The flasher is an unfused circuit on the 67 according to the wiring diagram. The fuse you replaced goes to the left door switch and the headlight switch for feed to the console and rt courtesy lights.  You are probably going to need to break the system apart and start looking for a short or it may be as simple as a bad headlight switch. Thanks jlg. Found a pinched wire in the steering column that was grounding out.
