65 dual master cyl upgrade

hello there,i have just upgraded to a dual master cyl with booster,but am having a little problem with the rear port on the cyl.the size is 1/2"x20 UNF,but it seems a little loose in the thread as you tighten the pipe,the front is fine.it is a scott drake item,which i have purchased through a dealer in Australia.Is there any other size fitting that this cyl should have?
