Im restoring a 67 fastback.I need some opinions on painting Im gonna do it myself I hear urethane is best.Should I use singla stage (no clear coat) or with a clear coat.I have to use urethane primer is that correct.Im getting close to primer time I am finishing metal work So i have to start planning.Any opinions on paint dupont,ppg,house of kolor etc. thanks in advance

urethane is the most durable and a friend had his own paint shop told my one time the standard single stage was the best looking and easiest to repair. He didnt like the 2 stage base coat clear coat thought it looked cheap. He liked Dupont, Ditzler , PPG said those were all good. I always liked the look of acrylic enamal which was the paint that came on mustangs and Ditzler was the brand that Ford used and thats what my car is painted with.
