Does anyone know what to do, to support the longer AOD trans. at the trans support. The standard support mount will not work, because of the extra gear in the trans housing.  Is there something out there to facilitate the installation?

Yeah, you can either go to Ron Morris performance and get a new mount or Mustangs plus part number 10044. They sell both the crossmember and the mount.

either what mechanicguy said or go to the junkyard and find a crossmember to match your tranny and as i did i added spacers it worked great. just remember now you have to have the driveshaft cuttdown and rebalanced

Did you put a spacer under the trans Tom or did you reweld the crossmember or what ?
