Hey guys im looking for a helping hand on this one. My car was completely fine then it wouldnt start or do anything for that matter, no lights no signals, nothin. Then all was fine. Then everything went dead, The wireing harness is new and have had no issues with it for quite a while, the starter solenoid, ignition switch, and starter motor have all been replaced in the last week and I checked all the wires going to and from the solenoid to the switch and from the battery to the switch. I cant seem to figure out why it wont so much as turn over! Any help is much appreciated. JC

Mine did that a while back and it ended up being the battery cables and connections. Work, then not work. All fine one day, then leaves you with nothing. Used an electronic tester to determine voltage present (battery) and then continuity at each point during failure. Replaced the small connector on the plus side, cleaned up all contacts with sandpaper and a wire brush and no problem since. I'm sure you have already checked this out, but thought I'd mention it. I thought my connections were fine. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon.

How's your battery, has it been load tested?

yea I replaced all the battery cables and sanded all the posts. Ironically it fired right up and I drove it to dinner and back. But last night it burnt up.... so now I have to replace ALOT of wires and a distrbuter thanks to a mysterious fire that spontaneously sprung up.. still tracing that one down.. fortunetly it was while it was sitting in the driveway and not while we were driving.

Very scarey. I'd get a new harness.
