i'm a stickshifter but i have a 1973 FMX out of a torino that had a 351c 4v. how much horsepower will the fmx handle ? thanks , shiftthis !

I think the consensus would be about 350hp at the upper end. The FMX was a good box but it never really got the aftermarket support of the C6 and C4. There just arent as many parts out there to make them handle more HP. As far as the factory went you find at about that HP rating the trans duties were handed off to the C6. It might handle a little more with a shift kit but thats about all thats available for the fmx ,,,they dont have the stronger shafts and larger servo's available for the C4 and C6.
