I'm ready to by tires and rims for my stock 69 coupe, I want to stay low and wide

and still not bind up in the fenders, My brakes will handle 14"s or larger.

I shortened the car by one inch too Would appreciate any suggestions

Suggest checking out R235/60-14's and R225/60-14s front if the 235's are a bit too wide for your lowered front.
They are low, wide and look period correct for the car.

You also might want to research the Ford Explorer and the Lincoln MKS.
