Can anyone tell me about how much it will cost to have a driver side shock tower installed in a 67 coupe and if the engine has to be pulled out?

It will take about 16-40 hours (depends on what's really wrong with the old one and amount of dissassy) and yes the engine has to be pulled.

I had the same problem with one of mine, and I went to CJ Pony parts, and they have the Complete Shock Tower assembled for $600. I know expensive, but needed (atleast in my case).

Im pretty sure you would have to pull out the motor, since everything that holds it up is attached tot he bottom of the shock tower. Your gonna have to take off the fender, wheel, and everything else thats attached. Its quite the project, but if urs is rusted like mine is, its worth the time and effort.

CJ Pony and pull the engine. You'll need the extra room to work around it and with the suspension removed it'll go quicker and be a better job.
