now I know that this post is in the wrong area but if Were to post this in the right area no one would look at it now on to the problem i need to replace my cracked water pump on a 1967 mustang with a 302 from some random truck but the problem is I don't know the right make for the new water pump and all I know about the water pump in it is that it has C60E-A marked on the top of it please help me out by telling what water pump I need

If the old pump fits and worked good after transplanting into your '67 then remove it and go to a good auto parts store or your local Mustang resto shop and ask them for one exactly like it. Compare and be sure everything is the same and then bolt that baby on.
Your gonna have to take it off anyway so do it first so you have something to show them and maybe use as a core in case there is a core charge.
Drain coolant out of your car at the bottom of the radiator. Then remove fan belt and Heater/radiator hoses and pull the pump off. Won't take long. Clean everything up by removing old gasket material and rust. Then put some sealer on the mating surfaces along with a new gasket and bolt back up. Hook up hoses and refill with coolant and you are good to go.
