Good morning: i have a mission, which I don't want to consider it impossible.
i have a 64 1/2 289, auto, 4bbl, generator baby. I am on a mission to put air conditioning in the car. I cant seem to find the rear bracket of the Eaton Pump (which turns 30 degrees) which is necessary for me to be able to install the compressor bracket.
I know some people may differ on the fact technical name, I am doing my best to describe it as accurately as possible.
I am attaching a photo of it, or I can email it to anyone. If anyone wants my contact info please let me know or if anyone has a lead on this it would be extremely helpfulll
Eaton Pump Picture
Hope that someone can help with this mission. thanks in advance. -Howie

If you don't mind calling, try Mustang Village in San Berdoo Ca. They are a classic mustang wrecking yard and parts sales. (800) 310-7915

Thanks very much. It's such a needle in a haystack kind of thing. Gonna give him a ring tomorrow. Thanks again.

Eaton Bracket link
This ebay seller shows that bracket and one additional. Though it looks a little different.

Thanks for the info. I spoke to them and they are looking in the inventory.
These are so tough to find especially for my car which is a generator version.
Thanks for helping with the search, as if now the search continues but hoping it ends soon.

Maybe Santa can find me an eaton pump bracket, no one seems to have the one for generator cars like my 64 1/2, 289

perhaps you should broaden you search..
as fairlanes and comets also got the V8 very early.. and should be generator cars...
almost every ford part i have ever seen .. has some kind of part number stamped into it..
do you have one of the part numbers for it??? might make it easier to find..

use the 4th link down to post visible photos from photobucket

I know what you mean with part numbers, but this is one of the strangest parts I have come across in my restoration. I only have a picture and have been looking everywhere but never come across any part numbers. I'm trying some of the other generator cars but there was a few types of this bracket for the eaton pump. Thanks for your suggestions

Thanks for the link, i'm still stuck on finding the rear bracket (which is the last part of the eaton pump components i need), but at this point if anyone has a lead on the brackets even if they come with additional components like the pump, i'm more than interested.

a sandwich board is a great idea...
most wanted flyers... with its image and the ford stamping number as a booking number would be cool..
