replacement 1/4s installed on a 68 coupe...

Good fit all around, trunk/wheel well/door/sail.

Then I closed the trunk, latched, good fit.

Then I put the 1/4 extensions on. Oops. They extend almost 1/2" from the rim of the trunk lid. Also, the slope of the top of the 1/4 is not lined-up. That I can probably manipulate but what do I do about the trunk lid/extension match. It's really not even close?

can you verify the part numbers you got..

have you called the vendor of the quarters...  yes.. i know  its like closing the barn door after the horse got out..

but pictures would be great...

there might be differences between coupe... fastback and convertible quarter panels..
