I installed a new oil pump in my 1965 mustang with a 170,what should be a oil pressure reading?

above 15PSI hot at idle... the thread size for your oil pressure switch or sending unit is 1/4 NPT...
so you can screw a conventional 50 or 100 pound gauge right into the side of the block for a quick test..
HF sells an oil pressure testing kit with all kinds of adaptors for 25 bucks.. comes with a gauge on a long hose ...
